Based just 11 miles east of London City Airport, The Backstage Centre is a versatile 10,000 sq. ft purpose-built rehearsal and training sound stage and studio facility situated in East London (Purfleet).

Having been designed in consultation with industry experts from some of the world’s best theatre and venues, we can easily accommodate your production needs. Among our most unique features include free on-site parking, 24 hour security as well as on-site catering and wi-fi facilities. What's more, the majority of our rooms have been built in such a way that they can provide multiple uses, among which include our recording studio, green room, dance studio, laundry room, production office, dressing rooms and multiple rehearsal rooms.

With exceptional facilities and production services at our disposal, we can offer a fully-equipped space for all types of production rehearsal. From large-scale theatre, dance and opera, to arena-scale band rehearsals as well as TV programmes and advertisements, no project is beyond our scale.
