Edinburgh Film Studios – located in the idyllic countryside next to Scotland’s Pentland Hills, 10 miles from Edinburgh city centre – offers a range of services to the film, TV and photographic industries.

The purpose-built, 1,450 sq ft studio is available for hire at competitive rates, providing a broadcast design service to the film and TV industry, and a high-end digital retouching and image creation service to photographers, advertising agencies and design companies. It can be used across a wide range of productions, including corporate videos, training videos, music videos, commercials, small-scale drama, children’s TV and large scale stills photography.

Features include soundproofing, an infinity cove with a smooth floor, a make-up room, green room, free parking and a production office, with catering available for small groups or larger productions. Grip gear, including spyder and crab dollies and track, Ronford-Baker head and legs, lights and a mini-jib, is also available on-site.
